Scholarships for Singaporean students

There are several sources of scholarships for Singaporean students to study speech therapy degrees. Most scholarships come with service bonds. Advertisements generally appear in the Straits Times around September to November each year. You can find out more by approaching the providers below:

National Council of Social Services

VWO Capability Fund (VCF) Scholarship
The National Council of Social Services (NCSS) offers full (100%) and partial (50%) scholarships under the Voluntary Welfare Organisation Capability Fund (VCF). More information can be found at : http://www.ncss.org.sg/vwocorner/vcf_scholarship.asp

Ministry of Health

MOH offers scholarship schemes for allied health professions, including Speech and Language Therapists. Contact them directly for the latest information: email moh_info@moh.gov.sg, website http://www.moh.gov.sg

Hospitals

Individual hospitals also offer bonded scholarships. Approach the various hospitals (government and private) directly with your CV. A list of hospitals with SLT services is provided here.
