What is SHAS?
 


The Speech-Language and Hearing Association, Singapore (SHAS), is the professional association for speech therapists (also called speech pathologists or SLTs) working in Singapore. Click here for our vision statement. We are a small but vibrant group of health professionals who work with people who have difficulty with communication and/or swallowing.

Speech therapists work with a broad range of clients - from babies with feeding problems, to children having trouble learning to talk, right through to elderly people recovering from strokes or living with progressive disease. Current Committee serves for a 2-year term. Committee members are full-time speech therapists and volunteer their services to support the association during their term. The current committee members are:
