Mainstream Schools FG - Working with Language Disorders in School

The co-ordinators of the Mainstream Schools Focus Group would like to announce a date for the next Focus Group get-together/meeting on Thursday 29th October from 6.00pm (arrival and refreshments between 6.00-6.30) to 8.30.
The topic will be “Working with Language Disorders in schools” with a focus being on intervention with Primary & Secondary school aged children. The main presenter for this event will be Anna Kattapuram, private practitioner and NUS clinical tutor.
There will be a 45-60 minute presentation from 6.30 with time for collaborative discussion/ trouble shooting and questions following that, so do please bring ideas that work well for you as well as difficult-to-solve problems and cases. During the last meeting, the joint discussion by assembled SLP/SLTs was very valuable in generating questions, formulating answers and promoting links between professionals, so we hope to foster more of the same this time round. |
